Kaniksu Internet is excited to offer customers in select areas the ability to get speeds up to 500 Mbps! Now you can get fiber speeds but with wireless gear. We are working to deploy this new gear at as many relays as possible, but there will be a few limitations to be aware of.

 Need a fairly clean "line of sight" to the relay

 Be approximately 4 miles or less from the relay

 May need an upgraded router


This new equipment is more sensitive to weather or other environmental factors. As a result, during heavy rain or snow it is possible that your connection will automatically downgrade to a slower speed that will work reliably in the bad weather. Once things improve, it will return back to the faster speeds.

What plan do I need to stream or work from home?

Each streaming service has different requirements for how much speed you need to use it. We have compiled a list of the most popular streaming services, and researched from their websites exactly what they recommend. Learn More

Is there a seasonal plan option?

For our customers who are here seasonally we offer two options to reduce your costs while you are away. Customers may put their plan on seasonal rates for up to 6 billing periods (months) out of the year. Billing periods do not need to be consecutive, however, to ensure proper invoicing, customers need to notify us prior to being invoiced for that billing period to change their rate plan.

Is internet service available where I live?

We have coverage in most areas around Lake Pend Oreille, and areas beyond. We are rapdily expanding into new areas, and as such our coverage area changes regularly. To get an estimated idea on our coverage area, please click the button below to view our coverage map. View Coverage Map

Can I change my rate (speed) plan?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan effective on the next billing cycle.

Are there any limits on the internet?

We do not put any limits on how much you use your internet connection.

Can I get a static (public) IP address?

Yes, on our Preferred and above plan one is included. On our Starter and Basic plans, it can be added for $10 per month.
