Kaniksu Fiber in Sagle
We are excited to announce that fiber internet is coming to many parts of Sagle begining in 2024! With the assistance of a grant from the State of Idaho, Kaniksu will be investing in parts of Sagle to install 80+ miles of fiber throughout the community.
Our fiber service plans offer a minimum of 100 Mbps up to 2.5 Gigs for fiber internet to your home or business. Enjoy faster internet speeds for less than what you are paying for your existing internet service plan! If you are on a limited income, you may qualify for a $30 per month discount on your bill through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
Kaniksu fiber is expected to reach approximately 1800 homes and businesses, and will install 85+ miles of fiber. Please click on a link to the right to view more detailed maps of where fiber will be installed during this project.
Generally speaking, if you live east of Hwy 95 and North of Westmond road, we likely will be able to offer fiber internet. Be sure to bookmark this page, for updates.

How to Sign up
Sign up today to receive a discount on the construction costs! We will offer a discount to customers who sign up early so we can complete the construction to their home or business while crews are in the area. We ask for a small deposit of $50, which will be applied to your first bill.
Service Plans & Installation
Our service plans start out at $69.99 for residential customers. For those who qualify for the FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), you can receive a $30 discount on any internet service plan. You can view all of our service plans here.
Construction costs for fiber will vary, but is generally cheaper (in some cases free) if installed from the street to your home aerially. We do offer the option to have the cable buried underground, and will work with you prior to installation to estimate costs, and go over the process. In addition to the construction costs, there is a $150 installtion fee to complete the connection to our fiber internet service.
Service Availability
It is expected that this project will take 3 years to complete. For the most part, as neighborhoods are completed, we expect to be able to connect customers immediately. Our first couple neighborhoods will be able to get service by the fall of 2024, and we anticipate all infrastructure work to be complete by the end of 2026.

Affordable Internet
If you are on a reduced income, you may qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a program offered by the Federal Communications Commision (FCC). When approved, you will receive a $30 credit on your internet bill, as long as you qualify for the program.
